Q. How many mutant seeds can I get per line?
A. We will send 30 seeds per set for each wild type cultivar and 3-15 seeds per set for each mutant line. If the seeds of the displayed mutant line are out of stock including sterility, we will send mixed seeds (20-30 seeds) of sibling plants.
Q. Do you set any limit for the number of order?
A. Up to 3 set for one line and up to 100 set for one order. Micro-Tom (TOMJPF00001) is available up to 10 set.
Q. Which gene is mutated? Are there any mutants for my interest gene?
A. We don’t investigate which genes are mutated in EMS and gamma-irradiated mutants. On the other hand, we have T-DNA tagging line of Micro-Tom and open the franking sequence of T-DNA insertion site. You will find T-DNA insertion line of your interest gene by BLAST search to flanking sequence DB
Q. Can I screen tomato mutant by TILLING?
A. Yes. But you have to come to our laboratory and screen mutants by yourself. We don't accept the entrustment of TILLING screening,
